Bavarian Bierhaus @ Wisma UOA II Kuala Lumpur~


What’s up guys, can you believe it's already the mid of September?! Which means the officially commence of the world's largest beer festival - Oktoberfest is only a few days away!! If you’re still feeling lost looking for an authentic German restaurant to celebrate this largest and most celebrated bier festival on the planet, here’s a post you don’t want to miss~ ^^

Located at the quiet corner of Wisma UOA II Kuala Lumpur, Bavarian Bierhaus is definitely one of the BEST German restaurant in town. The restaurant specialize in pork delicacies & offers a wide varieties of good beers and wine. Despite authentic German cuisine, Mediterranean food, fresh homemade pasta & mouth pleasuring cold cuts are also available here at The Bavarian Bierhaus.

I was there couple of days ago for an OpeRice food tasting session & It was a wonderful evening as we indulge in some of the very best pork delicacies here at the city centre. We were generously treated with some of the restaurant’s signature dish, all the way from pleasant starters to sweet desserts. *Special Thanks to Chef* ^^

Menu of the day, on top of what written on the menu, we get to try out the special Cold Cuts, Caesar & prawn salad, strawberry chocolate mousse & Tiramisu. Though sounding cliché as most of the dish can be found in most German restaurant, but what you need to remember is here at Bavarian Bierhaus, those food simply taste better. b^^d

Prawn Salad (RM 23)
grilled prawns, tossed apple with green salad, bacon, cherry tomato, buffalo mozzarella with red spinach onion, pinenut oil.

romaine lettuce, garlic dressing, serrano ham, hard boiled omega egg, crispy panini crouton with grated manchego chesse.

Grilled pork escalope with refreshing healthy salad bowl of cherry tomatoes, wilted greens tossed with Bavarian mustard, warm haloumi, crisp bacon & olive oil.

Authentic Mixed German Sausage Platter (RM 77)
par broiled then grill farmer bratwurst, hungarian, thueringer chorizo, emmanthaler, neurberger, pork frankfurter, cocktail sausage, grilled bacon, potato salad & sauerkraut with roasted garlic mayo, german curry ketchup, mustardh habanero mayo & horseradish sauces.

A unique combination of sausages, nicely define why German sausages rank among the best in the world.

Pork Ribs (half RM 40, whole RM 69)
oven roasted black back ribs with bbq pineapple gravy, warm beans, choices of coleslaw, mash potato or sauteed potato.

The gigantic aromatic ribs is simply amazing in both its size & taste, splendid & truly satisfying. b^^d

You don’t need perfection to have a perfect day, some delightful pork ribs, knuckle & sausages will do the trick :P

Smoky grilled pork steak serves with creamed spinach, fries and bacon-wrapped asparagus.

roasted knuckle with sauerkraut, roast baby potato with herbs served with traditional pork sauce.

Huge knuckle with crispy crackling skin, underneath the thin layer of skin is the succulent meat which goes well with the traditional pork sauce.

Finally after a splendid satisfying meal, its time for a perfect ending- Desserts!~
