This time with Music as the key urban indulgence, guests of DEFINE were invited to a lovely music indulgence @ Maison KL, a charming white mansion with a touch of baroque elegance.. a truly wonderful setting with pulsating beats, live performance and of course DEFINE ‘by the guests for the guests’ personalised cocktails. ^^

Chilling by the bar prior party, the atmosphere is simply wonderful with the stunning heritage façade of Maison. ❤ ❥ ❣ ❦ ❧

[KL’s Secret Garden] WIP @ Bangsar Shopping Center~^^

Once “Work In Progress”, now “Whipped Into Place”, WIP located at the prestigious Bangsar Shopping Centre is one perfect hangout spot with different spaces of gratification. Serving luscious cuisine with a hearty selection of Western, Asian and Northern Indian cuisine, the urban-tropic garden concept and coastal resort-ish design is definitely a lovely place to be in especially for those who wish for an exceptional relaxing experience.

Thanks to the cash vouchers via HeinekenMY my friend & I were able to try out some of their delectable dishes during our dinner at this voguish restaurant. A truly wonderful night with joy & satisfaction. *Happy* ^^

Nice juicy whole Portobello mushroom baked with chilli butter. I enjoyed the dense texture & mouth-feel.

Soft shell crab marinated and dusted with flour, deep fried and served with jalapeno mayonnaise. An excellent crispy-aromatic goodness, highly recommended. b^^d

Prawns, squid and fish marinated with olive oil, garlic and herbs. The fish & prawns were nicely marinated with savory flavors seals deep within the meat, the squid on the other hand wasn’t as exciting..

Despite the house special mojitos,The Clam Bar @ WIP also serves diverse selection of innovative cocktails, premium champagnes, wines & spirits. If you're not a fan of mojito, a glass of beer with some bar snacks will be an equally gratifying choice while enjoying the uplifting music play through one of the best audio system that I've ever encountered. :)

Carrot Cake

Lusciously moist cake with lime cream cheese icing. Splendid icy sensation with cream cheese frosting and toasted walnuts.

Gula Melaka & Jackfruit Cheesecake

An exotic combination of silky smooth light cheesecake and gula Melaka. Love the fluffy texture as it is distinctly different from those ordinary cheesecake. ^^

Other than the wonderful ambience another highlight of WIP would be their high service standards, simply one the best that I've received, the waiters are nice & attentive and always approach with a smile on their faces. Overall this is a place that I would recommend to experience the hip and trendy KL middle class, though it is slightly pricy but it wouldn’t hurt to pamper yourself with a wonderful indulgence once in a while :)

Rhythm Of The Rain l《聽見下雨的聲音》Special Screening ☂｀、ヽヽ、 ~

就第一次执导电影来说，方导方文山的表现可说是可圈可点啊（哎哟不错哦，得分得分 XD）。是的我说的是《聽見下雨的聲音》..一部由亞洲知名創作音乐人方文山首度執導，柯有倫、韓雨潔、釋小龍、徐若瑄領銜主演的愛情文藝電影。

《聽見下雨的聲音》10.10全马青春上映^^

“剧情简介：下雨天，有人说是天空在哭泣，也有人说那是邂逅的天气，它是如此的浪漫，富有感情，许多故事都是从这里开始的……

一个下着雨的夏末，热爱音乐的乐团“给一个说法吧”主唱阿伦（柯有伦 饰）在市集中汉服摊位遇到美丽的大学生雨婕（韩雨洁 饰），雨婕清新脱俗的气质让阿伦一眼就烙在心中，那股气息令阿伦想起那段大学时期最美丽的遗憾——Sharon（徐若瑄 饰）。

阿伦和雨婕两人的感情渐渐萌芽之际，阿伦的乐团却因为唱片公司的决策使得团员间闹不愉快，雨婕想帮忙分担阿伦的压力与烦恼，却又无力可施，反而造成两人间的不快。阿伦又在此时遇到现已成为摇滚天后的Sharon，两人再次见面，回忆点滴浮现，两人情愫再度悄然而生……

此时，阿伦的好友画家周以乐（释小龙 饰）将这三角关系全看在眼里。对于雨婕，他有着一份特殊情感..原来故事早在好久好久以前便已拉开序幕，那是五年前一个大雨磅礡的午后..”

对这部籌備了近五年的第一部電影作品，方导以其擅长的音樂为基调，演绎出一齣唯美却不失真的音乐爱情故事..虽为初試啼聲之作，类别也是台湾主流的青春純愛小品，但一切却没有太多的瑕疵，方导把自己在文艺界的拿手绝活巧妙的融入到了电影中，表现让人眼前一亮。有别于一般电影里以演员剧情及画面为主的堆砌铺陈，《聽見下雨的聲音》以音乐、诗词营造出了更有想象空间的画面。广为流传的中國風，优美詞藻的空灵感以及如画般唯美的场景在音乐的衬托下缓缓展开，极其动人。b^^d

当然以剧情来说这依然是一贯的台湾爱情小品，气质超好的女主角（ps：韩雨潔真的我近期见过气质最最最好的女生了 :P），纠结的爱情、泪水、青春与些许搞怪的基本元素皆俱，但戏剧张力方面还是稍显不足，留白的运用虽然带出了更多的想象空间，但还需记得过犹不及的道理。但总的来说这是一部让我惊喜的电影，电影质感与整体表现都挺好的，值得推荐。 ^^

*Quick facts of Paulaner Oktoberfest beer ^^

- It is 380 years old, 1^st brewed by the Paulaner monastery monks back in 1634, however it is still the “youngest” of the Oktoberfest Beers.

-  It is a lager with distinctly different brewed process comparing to the common Paulaner range wheat beer.

- It is slightly stronger (13% proof, 6% alcohol) that those “non-Oktoberfest” variants.
