TGV One Utama Nuffnang Premiere Screening Double Shot Part 1-M A M A Movie Review

Sisters Victoria and Lilly vanished from their suburban neighbourhood without a trace on the day that their parents were killed.. Since then, their Uncle Lucas and his girlfriend, Annabel, have been madly searching for them. Incredibly, five years later the kids are found alive in a decrepit cabin, they were rescued and begin a new life, living together with their Uncle Lucas & Annabel. But the question remains ——How did the broken girls left alone in the forest for 5 years survive?..or should they wonder, how alone were they?..

M A M A..Love never dies..
Originated from Muschietti's Spanish-language short film, Mamá (2008), presented by Guillermo del Toro (creator of Pan’s Labyrinth), Mama is definitely an above average horror premise. Despite certain common horror flicks used by many other horror movies and the rather predicted ending, Mama offered often enough clever bits and some genuine promise, for the more obvious moments that foray into cliché territory Staring of Jessica Chastain (Annabel), Isabelle Nélisse (Lilly) and Megan Charpentier (Victoria) is a rather impressive highlight.

This is the only horror movie which actually reminds me of my all time favourite——“Shutter”(Thailand). So if you’re still in doubt, just go.... you won't regret it.

Tics fr d premiere, thnx to nuffnang ^^

Rating 7.5/10
