[DV] Ristorante.Pizzeria: Authentic Italian Gem @Damansara Heights


Quietly situated at the neighbourhood of Damansara Heights, [DV] Ristorante.Pizzeria is truly a hidden gem, one that you’ll fall deep in love once you've had a taste of its scrumptious Italian culinary art.

The fifth Decanter-- [DV] Ristorante.Pizzeria, Bukit Damansara.
Managed by Frankie Ferrarese, [DV] embrace a casual dining concept which serves delightful home-cooked Italian cuisine under warm & cosy setting.. A variety of pizzas, pastas, salads, risotto, lamb & beef are some of the classic favourite to be expected.

Just a couple of days ago I was invited by StarHero to a dinner at this lovely restaurant & it was indeed a great night of wonderful gastronomic experience, hearty delectable dishes plus joy & laughter all night long. ^^

Starters:
Focaccia & Grissini, soft hand-made complimentary bread, & it’s still warm~ :)

MushroomBeef & Tomato tartare, ordinary starters with extraordinary flavour & beautiful presentation. The finely chopped & well seasoning beef tartare is what impress me the most, never thought that a meat with distinctive rawness can taste so good. ^^

Cheesy & definitely one of the best Eggplant Parmigiana I’ve ever had, made via roasted eggplant layering with Parmesan and tomatoes, this beautifully presented dish is a must try at [DV].  b^^d

Assorted Pizzas- TartufataCheeseProsciutto e FunghiCaprase. The finely baked pizza crust is what caught my attention here, crispy on the outside & doughy-soft in the inside, makes it equally pleasing either with simple cheese topping or savoury truffle. Secret behind the crust-- high-protein authentic imported Italian pizza flour. ^^

The Mains:
Linguine al Pesto (Linguine with Pesto Sauce and Potato). Pesto sauce is always my favourite when it comes to spaghetti, and while most Linguine al Pesto are smooth & oily this dish has a rather rich sauce with aromatic basil & supple texture from the pine nuts. b^^d

Fettuccine Aglio Olio e Peperoncino (Pasta with garlic oil and chili pepper flakes). Smooth flat thick noodle with mild taste of spiciness, the fettuccine is not too hard & just nice.

Spaghetti allo scoglio (Classic mixed Seafood Pasta). Spaghetti with crustaceans, shellfish & fresh tomato sauce.

Braised Beef Cheek. Pleasurably tender beef cheek serves on mashed potato & savoury sauce, the slowly stewed up to 4 hours beef gives a literary fall-off the bone texture & its my No.1 main course of the night. b^^d

Chicken Scaloppine with Porcini Mushrooms. Chicken breast cutlets with starchy scented porcini sauce. A nicely cooked homely dish.

Peppercorn crusted Fillet Tuna. Cuts of seared tuna fillet serves medium-rare with moderate spicy crushed black peppercorns & lemon.

And last but not least, Tramisu & Affogato for dessert, a perfect way to end a meal~ ^^

With its wonderful flavours of Italian cuisine, attentive service, fair prices and satisfying portions, [DV] Ristorante.Pizzeria is a place I would highly recommend for those who wish for a delectable Italian indulgence.
