1. Being the first European settlement in the Far East back in the 1500’s, once colonized by the Portuguese and now became a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China, Macau has carved out its own unique identity as a living testimony to the integration and co-existence of eastern and western cultures. Ruins of St. Paul’s (大三巴牌坊), A-Ma Temple (妈阁庙), Senado Square (议事亭前地), these are among the definite ‘MUST SEE’ places to be jot down on list ;)
