Reside quietly in the Palace of the
Golden Horses—a world-class award winning luxury hotel which tagged
as "Asia’s Most Extraordinary Hotel", Kin No Uma Japanese Restaurant is definitely one must go place for Japanese food
lovers. Though might be a bit off the beaten track, the tranquil restaurant surrounded via warm contemporary Japanese setting together with its private tatami rooms and kimono-clad waitress promises a truly wonderful gourmet experience, one that can be hard to come by in the often quite busy city life ;)

lovely table setting |
quick glance of the menu, an array of sushi and tsukuri |
Salt-boiled Edamame |
Kaiso Salada: assorted seaweed salad which comprises of five different varieties, 3 choice of dressing are available, namely the ponzu, thousand island and honey mustard if my memory serves me correctly :P (RM 24) |
Kin No Uma Roll: deep-fried king prawn with lettuce, cucumber, avocado, mayonnaise, cheese wrapped with seaweed, sushi rice and fish roe. The house maki roll with perfect balance of flavours, fresh, tasty and no doubt this is one exquisite dish with an equally outstanding presentation b^^d (RM 58) |
Maruyama Tempura: Deep-fried assorted fresh seafood and vegetables in light and crunchy batter. Wonderful demonstration of healthy fried food which taste delectable with a dip or two into the light Tentsuyu (tempura dipping sauce) b^^d (RM 42) |
Wakadori Teriyaki: tender grilled chicken with the always-seems-so-tasty teriyaki sauce, perhaps only Unagi Kabayaki can pull me away from this ^^ (RM 37) |
Miso Shiru: Soya bean paste soup. I'm not really a fan of miso because most restaurant tend to serve them either tasteless or too salty, this on the other hand taste just nice, one thumbs up for it b^^d (RM 15) |
Gindara: hot plate cod fish with aromatic lemon and garlic butter sauce ^^ (RM 45) |
green tea ice cream, seems like this has been my recent favourite in ending a Japanese meal ;) |
