(In case you guys wondering, Nietzsche was a German philosopher, poet, composer, cultural critic, and classical philologist..in short this man rocks!!.. I couldn’t agree more with what the man said about music & since I have equal passion in both music & food hence I come up with my own line of quote..Yes that’s me in the 2^nd line.. XD). Thanx to the king of noodles——Mee Raja post which written few weeks back I manage to score an invitation to join the exclusive food-lovers group via Nuffnang——Tastebuddies!! *Happy :D*

Anyway lets get back to the topic..It took some time but finally the long anticipated Nuffnang’s New Facebook Interest Group——Tastebuddies @ Nuffnang is ready to roll!!~ We had our 1^st ever official gathering organized by Nuffnang community team last weekend @KelantanDelights, Sooka Sentral (KelantanDelights FB), it was a wonderful Sunday afternoon which simply joyful & contented.

So ladies & gentlemen, I present to you Nuffnang foodies gathering @Kelantan Delights, Sooka Sentral, ft. Tomyam Kelapa Muda, Nasi Kerabu Ayam Percik, Nasi Tumpang etc.. *slurp* XD

Lets start with some classic cultured interior of the venue..  ^^

Staring with Sirih Daun Kaduk & Tomyam Kelapa Muda as appetiser..

Sirih Daun Kaduk, popiah skin, betel leaf with aromatic spicy crunchy filling.

Tomyam Kelapa Muda, tasteful combination of coconut milk & tomyam serves with prawn and coconut meat.

Main course: Nasi Kerabu Ayam Percik, Nasi Dagang Gulai Ikan, Nasi Tumpang & Laksam. The journey for a taste of centuries-old Kelantanese recipes begins v^__^v

Nasi Kerabu Ayam Percik, decent dish with nicely tinted light blue rice & pleasing savoury sauce.

Nasi Dagang Gulai Ikan.

Nasi Tumpang, 100% handmade Kelantanese dish inspire by their great ancestors. They only made 15 of these per day  :)

cone shaped banana leaf wrapped rice with chicken floss, fish, prawn sambal & egg in between forming a 4 layers 'rice cone', taste wise & interesting :)

Laksam- a.k.a 'Kelantan Laksa', which is actually thick flat rice noodles with whitish fish-coconut gravy plus vegetables topping.

Though we were extremely stuffed after such rich meal but guess what? There's always room for dessert! XD

Nuffnang Premiere: G.I. Joe: Retaliation Movie Review

After a long awaiting period of 3 years finally the Joes are back, the new film G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a continuation of the first movie, with a huge difference in terms of cast and crew and in the overall plot.

The previous G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra focuses on an elite military unit of exceptional Joes who face off against the notorious arms dealer and his evil organisation. Whereas in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the unit was framed and a small team of ‘renegade’ Joes which survived the ambush authorise by their ‘own president’ is what remains to clear their name.

There’s non-stop parade of martial arts action, combats, bombs, and double-crosses throughout the movie, also fancy high-tech weapons and gears, which feels pretty much like the Rise of Cobra. Basically G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a package of high standard Hollywood action movie, with precise calculation of climax & standout sequence, nicely done 3D, a very entertaining film for action movie lovers who enjoy seeing things blow up real good. However to me personally it’s still a bit lack of suspense and depth as the story line is straight forward and predictable.

Still this is a movie worth watching as the big explosions, action set pieces plus some humours touches will ensure everyone to have a good time, also the performance of Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis are solid and they do make a good team :)

Twin Towers @live 2013: Day 2 ft. Backstreet Boys & 2NE1 ♪~

My love with music started when I was 12 & Backstreet Boys is the 1^st American vocal harmony group which caught my attention (and later on comes Westlife, Blue, 'N Sync which are awesome~fantastic 90's :D). The greatest & best-selling boy band of all time released their debut international album, Backstreet Boys in 1996, since then BSB music has been part of my life, I grew up listen to them and till now their songs are still on my favourite list. b^^d

And thanks to Twin Tower@Live 2013 I finally get to meet with my All-Time Favourite band LIVE on stage!!! *Cheers Clap Shout Hands in the air* XD~ Well that’s not all, inheriting the line-up arrangement of last year the musical extravaganza which was held on March 22&23, 2013 at the base of Kuala Lumpur’s iconic Petronas Twin Towers had bring in not one but TWO star-studded international artistes per day, so guess who came up with BSB then?..Yeah that’s right they are one of the forefront worldwide K-Pop Invasion team——2NE1!! *high pitched shout*

Twin Towers @Live 2013 was definitely an enjoyable night, the hardware (PA, stage, venue) score a perfect 10 however the time arrangement and flow would need a BIG improvement, cutting off some vague performance and balance up with what the audience really wanna see plus a more precise starting time would be great. Anyway again a thousand thanks to HelloKpop for the tics & Twin Towers@Live 2013 for sponsoring the giveaway and efforts in organising the event. Looking forward for a even better music gala on March 2014! :)
