Hakata Ippudo Ramen @ Pavilion KL

What’s up ramen-lovers, It's been a while since my last ramen post but the ramen series finally returns, this time stepping foot inside the much talked about premiere ramen in town——the Hakata Ippudo Ramen @ Pavilion KL to savor some of their signature dishes plus a prosperous Chinese New Year ‘yee sang’ toss ^^

Hakata Ippudo Ramen @ Pavilion KL
warm and welcoming interior :)

Introducing for the very first time, the Ippudo Fortune Yee Sang comes with different condiments, succulent vegetables, crunchy fried ramen, delightful fresh salmon and a fragrant honey lemon sauce. For those who're looking for something new this year, ramen yee sang tossing follow by a satisfying bowl of ramen would be a wonderful choice to be considered ;)

Ippudo Fortune Yee Sang, a must have traditional CNY dish
symbolizing good luck, prosperity, health and all things auspicious ;)
Yee sang tossing @ Hakata Ippudo Ramen, Pavilion KL. Huat ah! Ong ah! Steady ah! :P

Despite the yee sang we did also try out some of the Ippudo's signature side dishes, as well as the new seasonal special ramen for 2015. The refreshing Nikumiso Tofu Salad, tasty Pork Bun and Akamaru Kakuni Ramen would be the combo set I recommend, as for those spicy food lovers, the Spicy Black Ramen uniquely enhanced with Ippodu's new spicy fragrant oil might be of your interest ;)

Nikumiso Tofu Salad,  chill and refreshing Tofu salad served with Ippudo’s special minced meat miso paste.
Chashu Tsukune Teppan, thick juicy minced pork served with fried noodles bits topped with poached egg on hot plate.
For a pleasing bite, puncture the egg and have the the yolk flow down before you grab a taste
of the soft tender minced pork together with the crunchy fried noodles bits  ;)
Crispy Corn, lightly battered deep fried corn topped with seaweed and paprika seasoning.
A relatively crispy and crunchy corn, as the name suggests, slightly oily to my taste though.
Spicy Chicken Bun, steamed bun with spicy chicken.
Pork Bun, steamed bun with braised pork and Ippudo original sauce, a tasty all time favourite,
would love to have a double portion size for this one  b^^d
thumbs up for the Pork Bun ;)
Shiromaru Kakuni, Ippudo's original tonkotsu broth served with ultra-thin noodles,
bean sprouts, kikurage, spring onions and the hard to be neglected
impressive chunk of kakuni (braised pork belly), sinful yet irresistible :P (RM 29)
Akamaru Kakuni, similar combination to the Shiromaru Kakuni, with the only difference lies in
the enhanced tonkotsu broth. The special blended miso paste and fragrant garlic oil
suits the soup very well, putting together with the huge chunk of kakuni,
this is for sure my choice of ramen @ Ippudo ^^ (RM 31)
beverages: Berry Fields (L) and Passion Ration (RM 11)
Hakata Ippudo Ramen seasonal special 2015 ;)
