Dukes & Duchess @TTDI, KL

Hi there foodies, it has been quite some time now since my last app oriented food review, this time JZ.world brings you Dukes & Duchess @TTDI KL, a trendy hybrid chill-out restaurant bar ft. their newly introduce Bar & Grill menu by Chef Don.

Started business 2 years ago Dukes & Duchess has quickly become a cool chill out spot in the neighborhood of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail and with its brand new Bar & Grill menu, now you have more reasons for visiting the place ;)

Dukes & Duchess @TTDI, KL.
a pretty chic interior with dark woods wall, victorian chandelier and stylish bar.

a glance at the F&B menu which offers a diverse selections of western cuisine and beverages.
beverages menu consisting malt whiskeys, vodkas, tequilas, gins, rums, wines, champagnes, sangrias, cocktails & mocktails.

Our Bar & Grill menu tasting dinner were kick-started with an appealing appetiser, followed by some of the chef's recommended dishes and ended with a touch of sweetness.

Roasted Mushroom Soup (RM 15)

With head chef Don Theseira's history (originated from Malacca with over three decades of culinary experience in European & Mallaccan cuisines), Dukes & Duchess's Malaccan and Portuguese dishes as well as the newly launch grill menu offers a savoury dining experience at a pretty competitive price. My personal favourites include the Devil's curry.

Mutton Dry Curry, taste equally good with both bread or white rice with mango pickle. (RM 18)
Rendang Claypot (RM 18)
Devil's Curry, the slightly tuned down spice level is just nice for me however is you're a real hardcore curry lover, an extra spicy version should should fit you better. (RM 16)
Chili Padi Chicken, a one of its kind curry with slightly pungent odour and flavorful taste. (RM 16)
Crispy Pork Knuckle, generous portion of nicely marinated & knuckles served with grilled bacon, mashed potato and roasted vegetables. A perfect match for beers despite the slightly pale mashed potato. (RM 88 for 2-pax sharing)
Malaccan Portuguese Spicy Noodles (RM 14)
Australian Sticky Pork Ribs, finely marinated and grilled, succulent & tasty.  (RM 42/half slab)
Silence of the Lamb. Delightful tender grilled lamb shoulder served with fries, grilled vegetables and homemade sauce. (RM 30)
Grilled Chicken Chop (RM 26)
Grilled Pork Chop (RM 30)
Nachos Chili Con Carne. One of the best nachos that I've tasted so far, great snack/starter choice. (RM 25)
Spicy Bacon Pizza, lovely thin crust with tomato based sauce, topped with cheesy pork bacon & olives. (RM 28)
Molten Lava Cake, a definite girl's favourite & a great way to end a good meal. ^^ (RM 16)
