Crispy Crust -Fried Crispy Chicken- @Bandar Sunway

Crispy Crust @Bandar Sunway

Located in Arena Mentari, a newly established commercial park in Bandar Sunway, Shabu Zone & Grill Buffet Restaurant (SaZoRi) is a brand new shabu-shabu and grill buffet restaurant which started their business just few months back.

With the concept of simplicity and healthy at heart, SaZoRi serves a wide selection of fresh food products which comes on a pretty convenient rotating conveyor belt that winds through the restaurant, with different colour of bowl representing different types of shabu-shabu ingredients, mainly blue for seafood, green for vegetables and oranges for assorted meat balls, chilled bean curd etc.

SaZoRi interior, love the simplicity of their design, neat, clean, cosy and convenient :)
a glimpse of the dining package offers ;)
chuka idoka, gyoza & slices of meat ^^

Besides the typical cooking method of stirring the ingredients in a hot pot here at SaZoRi you’ll get a combination experience of both boiling and cooking as patrons will be served with an individual shabu-shabu soup pot plus a private griller at each table.

a table of six with individual shabu-shabu soup pot where you get to choose your own choice of soup. 4 types of soup are available here at SaZoRi which includes the clear chicken soup, beef soup, seafood tom yam soup and the restaurant special ponzu soup.
unique soy based Ponzu soup ;)
tempting seafood tom yam soup, isn't as spicy as it looks though ;)
a private griller for BBQ enjoyment ;)
a favourite Japanese dish of mine——chuka idoka (seasoned baby octopus) ^^
beef slices served upon order
sliced lamb
a wide selection of seafood which you could find on the convenient rotating conveyor belt serving right to your table :)
most of the dish comes in a minimal portion of food to avoid wastage, however simply top up if you feel like having more as there're plenty of bowls on the belt ;)

Bijan Bar & Restaurant Fine Malay Cuisine Ramadhan Buffet Spreads

Located just a stone's throw away from one of Kuala Lumpur's most happening site Changkat Bukit Bintang, Bijan Bar & Restaurant has been well known not only for its pleasing fine Malay cuisine but also the restaurant’s warm and elegant setting. b^^d

This month (3-23 July 2014) the renowned restaurant which voted ‘Best Malay’ in TimeOut KL Food Awards for 5 consecutive years (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013) brings you a wonderful spread of wholesome Malay buffet lines.

Bijan Bar & Restaurant @ 3 Jalan Ceylon, Bukit Bintang KL.
Bijan fine Malay Cuisine, ‘Best Malay’ in TimeOut KL Food Awards 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Modern & elegant surroundings with a traditional Malay touch. Love the great ambiance & spacious layout.

Huge thanks to TableApp and Foodirector a few of us bloggers were invited for a dinner try-out where lovely traditional Ramadan Malay Buffet spreads were served. :)

Variable seafood selection which grill upon order.
Colorful Malaysian's Kuih Muih (local kueh/cake made from rice/glutinous rice), attractive and mouth-watering ^^

Collection of Malay appetisers/salad, nice accompaniment for the upcoming main course.

One thing I love about Malay cuisine is that the dishes are so tempting with the vivid colour & fragrant flavour, the Signature Ayam Mask Merah (Fried chicken simmered in a red sauce of chillies, tomatoes & spices) and Rusuk Kambing Masak Hitam (Lamb cutlet in a spiced black sauce) are something not to be missed here at Bijan ;)

Vivid colour & fragrant flavour main courses served together with quality white rice/fragrant rice. The dishes are slightly less spicy probably to suit the majority of western patrons visiting, however extra spices do available so help yourself if you urge for a heavier taste ;)  R on pic- Kupang Goreng Serai (Mussel Stir-fried with Spiced Lemongrass).
Ayam Mask Merah- Fried chicken simmered in a red sauce of chilies, tomatoes & spices.
Ayam Golek Panggang (Roasted Chicken).
The surprising delectable satay. The Beef satay is basically second to none, definitely one of the best beef satay that I ever had. It would've been perfect with a more flavourful peanut sauce ;)
After an ample buffet, there's nothing better than a bowl of quintessential Malaysian dessert- ais kacang (Shaved ice dessert) to clear up the spices before having some other desserts ;)
If you're looking for some flavour enhancement, Bijan bar which serves wine & cocktails is always available ;)

Finally just before we thought the night has nearly come to an end, Bijan Executive Chef Zulkifli blown us away with the restaurant signature desserts- the heavenly taste Durian Cheese Cake and Chocolate Durian Cake. Personally I'm more towards the durian hater side but these desserts made me ate more durian than I ever had in the past 10 years, yes that's how awesome it taste :P

Durian Cheese Cake. A prefect balance between premium grade D24 durian and mascarpone cheese, wonderful flavour. b^^d
Chocolate Durian Cake. Layer of sweet creamy premium D24 and moist chocolate cake coated in velvety dark chocolate ganache. b^^d

Bijan Bar & Restaurant is currently offering a buka puasa buffet promotion which is another good reason for you to visit the restaurant, simply book your table via >TableApp< for a taste of fine Malay cuisine under great ambiance and impeccable services :)
