以茶入膳自古有之，以茶叶料理美食，取茶叶之清香为美食锦上添花，成为独具特色的茶料理，亦称为茶食。然而虽然茶食历史源远流长，但在雪隆区以茶膳为主的餐馆却屈指可数，而今天要为大家介绍的紫藤茶原 Purple Cane Tea Restaurant便是雪隆区当中少数专攻茶膳料理的元老级茶食中餐馆哦（据个人了解紫藤位于隆雪华堂的创始店从1997年开始营业至今已迈入第十七个年头了呢b^^d）。号称全马独创首家以茶入膳的别致餐馆，紫藤茶原 Purple Cane Tea Restaurant 除了主打以茶入菜，亦主张少油、少鹽、少調味料的烹调方式，以清而不淡，可口怡人的原味健康菜为重口味的大马主流饮食文化注入一股清雅之风 ;)

非常喜欢这里的餐厅设计，优雅的中国风中透着一丝丝年轻创意的气息 b^^d

此次与友人到设计较为年轻的紫藤茶原–佰樂泰廣場店享用了一顿健康茶膳，偶尔的清淡风雅感觉非常悠闲。各式以茶料理的菜肴不仅色、香、味俱全，而与不同菜肴搭配的茶叶亦各不相同以达食材调和融入之意，足见师傅烹调时的用心。另外素食朋友们亦可在点菜时相告，厨房会贴心的为菜色进行调整哦 :) 芸芸菜色之中个人喜爱并推荐的包括了卖相诱人口感滑嫩的自制茶砵豆腐、健康可口的龙井擂茶饭以及香脆多汁的宫保鲍鱼菇，饭后甜点方面个人对于春夏秋冬布丁果冻里的夏之绿茶布丁则情有独钟 b^^d

散发着迷人香气的主食，普洱糙米饭（前）及龙井绿茶饭

毫无添加椰奶的红茶蔬菜咖喱，更多体现的是蔬菜的清甜 (RM 18)

一般人多会害怕擂茶蔬菜里的苦涩味道，但紫藤的龙井擂茶饭 (雨过天青套餐) 经师傅调味不但去除了不讨喜的苦涩味，还散发出一丝丝茶香，非常值得一试。提供单点的龙井擂茶汤也不错喝哦 b^^d (套餐 RM 16.9，茶汤 RM 7.9)

荔红茶鸭，搭配薄薄蛋皮青菜与特调甜酱味道不错

Lai Thai Mini Market @Happy Mansion, PJ

Quietly located in the calm neighbourhood of Seksyen 17, Lai Thai Mini Market @ Happy Mansion, Seksyen 17 is probably your best bet in finding the most authentic Thai food in town. The somewhat shabby shop may slightly deviate from all those restaurants which I usually review, however the nicely equipped stall within the mini market together with its rather limited dining space still score wonderfully when it comes to food authenticity b^^d

like I said, it's more like a combination of mini market selling a majority of Thai grocery products plus
an authentic Thai food stall ;) 

the space is quite limited so I would prefer to swing by in the morning just to beat the crowd
and also to escape the afternoon heat :)

simple menu with lots of tasty Thai food ;)

Pad Thai (fried rice noodles) and som tam (papaya salad) are too mainstream, so I've decided to go for the Kao Ka Moo (Pork Leg with Rice), another popular street food item which commonly seen in Thailand, and yes the aromatic stewed to perfection pork hock did not disappoint me, as a matter of fact there were nothing different from those I had in Thailand really, thumbs up b^^d

another add-on which I ordered, Minced Meat the Northeast Thailand, a spicy sour blast minced pork meat with liver and intestine, just to spice things up a little for good old times' sake :P (RM 12) *caution, its pretty spicy  

a variety of chilies for extra flavour, just like what we used to see in Thailand. If so happens that you do order Pad Thai, the chili flakes and powdered peanut are the 'must add' ;)

Banana Shake, something to cool down the mouth after all the spices :) (RM 5)

So if you’re looking for some authentic Thai street food on a casual occasion, Lai Thai is one interesting shop/stall which I would highly recommend for foodies whom doesn’t mind dining in a slightly moderate environment ;)

Crispy Crust -Fried Crispy Chicken- @Bandar Sunway

Sunway University的学生是幸福的，除了学校宿舍领近大型金字塔购物商场，在距离学生宿舍步行5分钟距离内便有着不止一间的特色咖啡馆，享受香醇的咖啡、轻松的早午餐对Sunway的学生们可谓轻而易举。然而这还不止，近期这一区居然还冒出了个绝对酥脆的炸鸡速食店，金黄酥脆的炸鸡垂手可得，真是幸福无上限啊~ 添为一枚资深博大生兼吃货，除了妒忌羡慕恨，也只能无奈的对本身的母校说一句：“博大，加油 好吗” -________-

Anyway 回到今天的主题，为大家介绍一家以诱人金黄香脆炸鸡成功立足于Bandar Sunway （基本上就坐落于 Sunway University 旁边），开业至今只有数月的本土原创餐饮品牌—— Crispy Crust ;)

走入店面最吸引人的莫过于碎木压缩面板的桌椅与诱人的特大幅美食啦，Crispy Crust 走的是简洁设计风，而点餐取餐皆为自助，所节约的人力资源则投入于食物质量的提升，赞一个 ;)

延续设计理念，简洁的menu让顾客可根据个人喜好选择各式食物搭配出自己的餐点，付款后取号等待显示牌叫号即可 :)

Crispy Crust 偏向于快餐店经营模式，以亲民的价格供应香酥可口的招牌现炸/烤鸡排套餐，搭配上三文治、意大利面、日式米饭等主食及其他 add-ons，点餐后即刻料理送上，效率不错。其中金黄诱人的招牌炸鸡排一入口立即卡滋卡滋的，堪称完美的酥脆度绝对令人惊艳 b^^d 另外值得一提的是有别于台湾炸鸡排一般撒上大量调味粉的做法，Crispy Crust 的炸鸡皆搭配店家自制的调味酱，口味可依个人喜好斟酌，非常不错 ;)

Monte's Restaurant & Wine Bar @Bangsar Shopping Centre

Quietly located in a secluded corner of Bangsar Shopping Center, Monte's Restaurant & Wine Bar might not sounds familiar to those who first visited Bangsar Shopping Centre, however, the veteran restaurant is pretty well known among the Bangsar folks as Monte's with its hearty old school western cooking has been serving the neighborhood for more than a decade ;)

Being a consistent awards winning restaurant over the years which has also been named one of the top 10 Western Restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, Monte's serves a wide selection of Western cuisine made with fresh authentic and quality ingredients. The baked Escargots caught our attention at the appetizers section as it was well seasoned and nicely cooked, though I'm not a fan of exotic food but these snails are tasty and the cheesy sauce alongside match wonderfully with the homemade buns. For the mains personally I love the simply grilled to perfection Ribeye, tender, juicy and works like a charm in satisfying my crave for succulent meat :P

And as usual we ended our beautifully presented meal with a couple of luscious desserts, warm molten chocolate Brownies served with a scoop of chilling vanilla ice cream and Monte's signature Bread & Butter Pudding! If you insist on picking one I'll say go for the bread & butter pudding but hey, why choose when you can have'em all to right XD

Délifrance Malaysia Christmas Delights Menu Launch @Avenue K

It’s December, a month filled with excitement and celebration as once again we’re approaching that time of the year where families, nations and the entire world coming together to celebrates the joy of Christmas ;) So ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, foodies etc. for the first post of December may I present to you a series of tasty delights from Délifrance’s Christmas menu featuring an array of lovely pastries and Christmas sets ;) The new festive menu comprises a range of new appealing cakes, chocolate and bread, as well as four Christmas set menu which served with a glass of F&N Seasons’ iced lemon tea.

Santa Play Land Gift Cake. A pleasing red velvet Christmas cake topped with sour cream cheese, perfect gift cake candidate for your Christmas shopping list (RM 48.90)

Rocky Land Gift Cake. A Belgian chocolate cake topped with ganache. A lovely Christmas indulgence especially for those chocolate lovers (RM35.00)

Also available on the Délifrance's Christmas menu are the classic Santa Helper (gingerbread man), fruity Stollen Bread, Dark Chocolate Almond Rocher, moist assorted flavours Cupcakes and tempting soft Salted Caramel Tea Cake with Walnut & Double Chocolate Tea Cake ;)

Alongside with the sweet items Délifrance’s Christmas menu also featured four set menu which are the Poached Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce, Chessy Turkey Pasta, Provencal Lamb Stew and Lasagne.
