Chinese New Year 2015 Menu @ Toh Yuen, Hilton Petaling Jaya


This Lunar New Year 2015, the recently refurbished Toh Yuen Chinese Restaurant @ Hilton Petaling Jaya brings you a brand new culinary experience with its rejuvenated ambiance as well as Chinese Executive chef Sam Lu’s specially crafted pork-free Cantonese cuisine exclusively designed to suit the upcoming CNY celebration ;)

The Hilton PJ Lunar New Year Fest celebratory banquet menus heartily prepared by Hilton PJ's talented culinary team comes in 4 selections which priced from RM 1288++ for the Everlasting Happiness set to RM 1988++ for the Sea of Prosperity set, each banquet menus comprises of an array of pleasing Cantonese cuisines serves ten persons, with highlights of the menu includes Braised Top Shells with Stuffed Oysters, Broccoli, Mushroom and Abalone Sauce, Shanghainese Work-fried Tiger Prawns, Stir-fried Crab Meat with Egg White, Fresh Milk and Broccoli, as well as the CNY favourite Hakka Style New Year 'Poon Choy'

As for our early Lunar New Year Fest at Toh YuenHilton PJ, we were treated with the Love in Abundance set which priced at RM 1588++ for a table of ten. kick-starting the lovely menu is none other but the CNY must-have prosperity salad——Toh Yuen Fatt Choy Fresh Salmon with Chinese Pear 'Yee Sang', followed by some of my favourite CNY dishes such as the Braised 'Fatt Choy' with Crab Meat Soup, Tiger Prawns with Chinese Herbs and Braised Top Shells with Stuffed Oysters, Broccoli, Mushroom and Abalone Sauce ^^

Fresh Salmon with Chinese Pear 'Yee Sang' (雪梨三文鱼捞生), also available in a variety of options including: the Fresh Salmon & Baby Abalone Yee Sang, Geoduck and Jellyfish Yee Sang, Fresh Salmon and Jellyfish Yee Sang, Jellyfish with Seaweed Yee Sang and Chinese Pear and Jellyfish Yee Sang ;)

Steamed Sea Grouper with Onion Oil and Light Soy Sauce (香葱头抽蒸海斑)
